The Experience: We depart Anacortes in the morning and cross Bellingham Channel to Cypress Island. Unlike the ferry-serviced islands, Cypress is a designated Natural Area Preserve with no public roads. We will anchor in Eagle Harbor, where the water is often calm and clear.
Activity: Guests can take the dinghy ashore for a guided hike up to Eagle Cliff (moderate difficulty) for a breathtaking view of the surrounding islands, or simply beachcomb along the pebble shores.
Dining: A gourmet picnic lunch served aboard the sailboat in the cockpit or on the foredeck.
Return: A relaxing afternoon sail back through Guemes Channel.
